True Treasures

The human body has a matrix of it’s own alarm systems – mine the past 2 weeks has been a consistent abnormally low blood pressure that I take midodrine for anytime below 100X; it does however wake me up out of a deep sleep so tough to get more than a few hours at a time. BUT NOT COMPLAINING as it wakes me before I pass out…..and yes, my fall detection is on my wrist. Thoughts for this early morning..and SO VERY thankful for the “True Treasures” in my life. Love you all. More.
Life’s essence lies in those who stand tall,
Beside you in struggles, through it all.
In darkest moments, they shine so bright,
“We’ve got this,” they say, banishing fright.
They notice your silence, your hidden pain,
Checking in, with love that remains.
Comfortable silence, no need for words,
Together, hearts beating, gentle birds.
They see past facade, raising an eyebrow high,
“Are you okay?” they ask, with a knowing sigh.
Memorized coffee orders, a thoughtful deed,
Texts on tough days, “Thinking of you, indeed.”
True treasures are those who stay,
Through life’s ups and downs, come what may.
