Last night I chose to shut out the noise and went into Dad’s archive of cassettes from services during the Morningside years. I sometimes need to be reminded just what an extraordinary ‘pulpit’ preacher he was. Sermon title was ‘Run the Race’; At the end of the message, he sang and repeated the words to this powerful chorus we sang often during those years. Some powerful lyrical lines to encourage us today. It WILL be worth it all when we see Jesus…and to BRAVELY run the race, FIXING our eyes…. Thank you Dad for your 46+ year message that re-touched my heart. I am so gratefully blessed to be your Son.
