Seasons of Life. Admittedly, a lot of retrospection for me this week– there are now many seasons within these past over six decades. Incredible childhood and teen memories and life relationships made during those early years; the middle decades, I spent so far ‘off the rails’–looking back I find it hard to grasp how far morally and spiritually I separated myself from God and everything I had been raised to be without a compass; then these past 20+ years, the prodigal son finally came home. Seasons. They teach us. They mold us. They break us sometimes–but they restore us. So today, I praise my Creator for these Seasons. ‘For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.’ (Psalm 139: 13-14). Have a blessed Friday and stay safe and vigilant. Love you all.
