Often during my restless nights when sleep just comes in spots, I wrap up in a blanket and rotate between Dad’s cassettes, his vintage vinyl collection of Bobbie Jean White (from the Morningside years) & The Sheltons (from the Roanoke years) and the early years of the beloved televised Billy Graham Crusade classics. The choirs and congregational hymns (I just sing along), Cliff Barrows, George Beverly Shea, top recording artists and Dr. Graham’s messages and invitations. They calm my heart each time. Penned by Mr. Shea was this classic–in last night’s crusade filmed @ Yankee Stadium. #ratherhavejesus
