A brief ‘sermonette’. As the world around us fights to figure everything out, I’ll be holding doors for strangers, letting people cut in front of me in traffic, saying good morning behind my mask with a kind blink of an eye and nod my head in respect to passersby, being patient with sales clerks and keeping babies and toddlers entertained in self distanced lines, stopping to talk to someone who is lonely or in despair, and listening & encouraging rather than picking a fight. WHY? Because I WILL NOT stand idly by and live in a world where Love is invisible. Friends, will you join me in showing kindness, understanding and judging less; being kind to a stranger, sharing grace to friends who are just having a bad day and being forgiving of myself today and every day.
