Our hearts are heavy. So many are grieving, suffering in silence, wounded, feeling alone and afraid. My heart was reminded of a spiritual ballad I remember singing at a PTA meeting @ Dacusville Elementary in my early years–my first duet I learned how to sing the tenor part – ‘There is a Balm in Gilead. To make the wounded whole. There is a Balm in Gilead. To Heal the sin sick soul.” Friends, I pray for that Balm in your/our life today.
